September is around the corner and we need to get back in the school-year routine again. Evenings will be shorter with additional home works and we are in the need of some quality autumnal September kids activities to keep them busy – or just to practice the curriculum more. Below you can find a lot of child-friendly things to do.
We never get enough time in the day. You might feel like having constant rush without sitting down for a cup of coffee. Or you just want to spend some quality time with the kids but all the chores are coming in your way non-stop. Maybe you need to help your preschooler to be ready for kindergarten and you are not sure where to start.
I hear you.

So welcome September – with a lot of kids activities!
This month we feature several September activities for the kids. We prepared some fall coloring sheets and some math worksheets for preschoolers to prepare for kindergarten.
You can think it’s a year away but it will be here in no time (and you just can’t teach everything in 2 days to that kid, right? 🙂
We have also included a great dot marker activity book when the weather outside is not suitable for play.

Autumn animals in this dot markers coloring book
I highly recommend this animal dot markers coloring book for fall activities. It features adorable animals that are commonly associated with this season, such as squirrels, owls, and foxes. Your kids will have a blast using dot markers to fill in the autumn-themed pictures, making each drawing their own.
This book is designed for children who are in the early stages of learning how to color.
It offers 50 pages of unique drawings featuring various animals, allowing kids to simultaneously color and learn about different animal characteristics.
Additionally, the pages can be easily cut out to prevent color bleeding. This fun and educational book promises to engage children in the coloring process while expanding their knowledge about animals.
Coloring and Tracing Activity Book for Kids
This book is a great find for those who want to improve the fine-motor skills of their children.
The tracing and coloring book contains a lot of fall related activities and it is suitable for kids from the age of 1 or 2 as the tracing activities can be done with their fingers too.

September kids activities to the rescue!
After the busy summer we used to slow down a bit in fall. Autumn is the season when jackets are coming out from the cabinet and day to day the mornings bring more chill. I love autumn because of the cozy, slow-down, lazy feeling. I hope in the big back-to school rush you will find the free printables and the book recommendation a good fit for your kids to get into the fall mood.
